Flowing off the the coastal side of the Andes they have some of the longest navigable sections of whitewater in the country. Departure from Quito 6h30 am. Safety briefing & paddle practice on arrival at river. 3 hours of on-river time including the inhabited El Sapo Gorge on the Toachi.

ZT-044 COTOPAXI NATIONAL PARK (38 KMS. DAILY, FROM QUITO)

Ecuador Montain BikingTravel by car from Quito to the Cotopaxi National Park via the Pan American highway. The bicycle trip departs from the El Boliche train station, and passes trough pines and herds of llamas until we arrive at lake Limpiopungo (4.000m altitude). After a sack lunch, enjoy the smooth descent back to the train station and then back to Quito by car.
