Galapagos Yachts & Tours Options

Best described as “Mother Nature's treasure chest”, the Galapagos Islands are the crème de la crème of Ecuador’s and Peru’s myriad breathtaking travel destinations.

Officially known as the Archipelago of Colón, the Galapagos Islands sit in the Pacific Ocean approximately 1,000 kilometers off the coast of Ecuador. The Archipelago covers approximately 8.000 km2 and consists of six main islands (Isabela, San Cristobal, Santa Cruz, Floreana, Santiago, and Fernandina).

As volcanic islands that literally rose from the sea, the Galapagos enjoy a position of near absolute isolation, an environment that, as Charles Darwin discovered, is perfect for the evolution of unique species. Birds, marine mammals, reptiles, and insects that survived long journeys from the mainland colonized the Galapagos Islands.

These creatures evolved and slowly adapted to the specific conditions of the Galapagos’ unique environment. Because of this evolution in isolation, the Galapagos Islands are home to more endemic species than anywhere else on the planet, including 228 endemic plant and tree species, 28 birds, 19 reptiles, and 4 mammals.

While you are in the Galapagos, you'll watch the mammoth Galapagos Tortoise mate, take a close-up shot of flamingos bathing, scuba dive amongst rays and sharks, and snorkel alongside the rare Galapagos Penguin while blue-footed and masked boobies, albatrosses, frigate birds, and eagles soar overhead.

The best way to experience the Galapagos Islands is by yacht with the help of a naturalist guide. With a fleet of first-class luxury and tourist-class yachts and a staff of bilingual Galapagos experts at our disposal, we offer you the best Galapagos cruises at affordable prices.
