Yuturi Lodge
 Deep inside the Amazon jungle, 180 kilometer from Coca in the
impressive Rio Napo you arrive at Yuturi Lodge. Yuturi is a Private
Biological Reserve that holds a variety of habitats, which to some
extent attract different animal species. Yuturi is considered as one of
the major birdwatching sites of the Ecuadorian Jungle. Several
researches have determined the existence of over 400 species of birds.
Yuturi offers great comfort in the heart of a primary rainforest, 15
spacious huts all with private facilities, good meals and expertise
bilingual naturalist guides. Yuturi is the Quechua name of Conga and
which abundant in the Amazon region.
Itinerary 1st day: Morning flight from Quito to Coca (45 minutes). Four hours motor canoe trip and navigation along the impressive Napo and Yuturi rivers. You arrive shortly before dusk. Upon arrival, enjoy a night hike around the Paraguaco lagoon to observe nocturnal animals completes the day's activities.
2nd day: Get up early and canoe trip through the Yutury lagoon to observe the transition between the land vegetation to the aquatic, and the diversity of birds (nearly 500 species have been found). Afterwards, canoe trip along the Manduro lagoon, and natural hike through the rain forest to observe the exuberant vegetation, some plants and the diversity of aquatic birds. In the afternoon enjoy piranha fishing. Night walk to observe caimans.
3rd Day: Morning walk by the way of Huarmi Yuturi to observe many plants and animals, then visit to the indian community Samona Yuturi to learn about their traditions. In the afternoon native guides will show how to use a blowgun and possible to weave basket using local fibers. Visit to the Chorongo Island (Monkeys Island) to observe monkeys.
4th Day: Starts with an adventure walk (about 3 hours) to see medicinal plants and learn from the guides how they have been used traditionally. Observation of birdlife: caciques, toucans, parots, iguans, and the forest: orchid, bromelias, palms lianas and a large diversity of insects. In the afternoon visit to the Canopi Tower.
5th Day: After breakfast free time or optional activities. Return motor canoe trip to Coca to take a flight back to Quito
